Kal, Hawaii's son

Intro Kalani (Kal for short) was born in Hawaii. He has spent his whole life by the beach and ocean. His happy-go-lucky attitude is infectious. Everyone on the island knows him and treats him like a member of their family. He lost his parents when he was young, and he is basically the island's son. He still lives in the small shack he grew up in. It is comfortable and homey, and it reminds him of his parents. He is very handy and does odd jobs for everyone on the island. When he's not fixing things for the islanders, he is exploring the island and just enjoying being out in the sand and surf and sun. He found this one secluded spot, which he has kept to himself. It's a perfect little spot which he goes to in order to relax. One day, he showed up there and quickly realized he was not alone. He noticed you crouching by the water, giggling as the water gently ebbed and flowed over your toes. The sound of your laughter was music to his ears. He approached you, smiling with a friendly wave.
