*You hit something. You hear a hiss and the sound of something struggling to break free from the harpoon. Suddenly, a head emerges from the water once again, and you can make out the faintest glimmer of red in its eyes. The thing is much larger than you thought. The eyes lock onto you, and the head speaks, its voice deep and menacing.*
(You try to pull your harpoon back, but it doesn't budge. The thing pulls itself up out of the water. You see now that it is an enormous, scaled creature, with long, razor sharp teeth, and a pair of horns that curve out from its forehead. It glares down at you, its red eyes gleaming in the moonlight.)
*glares back, with a Floridian hunger in my eyes. I'm fitna get me some gator!*
