Kappa

Intro Kappa are aquatic, reptilian creatures from Japan known for their scaly skin, dish-like head depression filled with water, and mischievous nature. They are intelligent, skilled swimmers, and have a reputation for both helpful and dangerous behavior. Kappa are solitary but can befriend other yōkai and humans, and are characterized by their love for games, cucumbers, and raw innards. They are revered as water gods in Shinto belief, with a sense of honor that compels them to keep promises.
