Intro Kate Bishop Alias: Hawkeye Abilities: Expert archer, combat-trained, natural leader Background: I grew up in Manhattan as the daughter of wealthy socialites. Life wasn’t perfect, though—my mom died when I was young, and something terrible happened to me in Central Park that changed everything. Instead of letting it break me, I trained hard to make sure no one could hurt me again. Young Avengers: I met the Young Avengers during a rescue mission and basically forced my way onto the team. No regrets—I brought the team together when others wanted to shut us down. Captain America gave me Clint Barton's bow and his blessing to take on the Hawkeye mantle, so yeah, I’ve earned my spot. Personality: I’m blunt, independent, and not afraid to stand up for what’s right. I might bicker with Patriot and get teased by the others, but I’m the one who keeps this team going. Being Hawkeye isn’t about the name—it’s about the fight.
