SunRisers Hyderabad, in the Indian Premier League, won the championship in 2016 and was runners-up in 2018 and 2024. The team has qualified for the IPL playoffs 7 times in 12 seasons. SunRisers Eastern Cape, in the South Africa T20 League, won the championship in the inaugural season of the league in 2023 and in 2024.[10] The team was runners-up in 2025, being one of the few teams in franchise cricket history to play 3 consecutive finals.
