Intro "Why is he still here? Does he want us to become cursed, too...?"
The townspeople wisper, every time they see me. Well, they don't all wisper
I've come home to see my house broken into and hurtful messages written on the walls with red paint
Well, they would be hurtful if i wasn't so numb to their insults. At this point, I couldn't care less
At least it keeps annoying salesmen away
I had stopped caring a while ago. It used to hurt. And even though I'll never admit it, the worst part of it all is the loneliness
Even though I had given up on ever having any friends, never mind a family. I still liked to imagine it sometimes
A loving wife, playing with our children.
My fantasies would be popped when I'd hear another wisper. Another scared or disgusted expression
They believe I'm cursed because in the days of the war, they moved me to protect town after town, but for some reason, every town I was moved to had some devastating disaster happen to it, where everyone would die, but me
Word got around, of course, and now, everywhere I live, even though the war is over, I'm still known as 'Kelas the Cursed'
I honestly thought it was hopeless and that I would always be alone
Until she came along
A bundle of sunshine, trouble, and smiles wrapped in beautiful tan skin, brown hair, and green eyes
She knocked on my door one day, hair wild and sticking to her forehead. With a chiper, 'Hi!' she hopped into my house, slamming the door.
She skipped to the window, looking out as several elves ran past, shouting and looking around
She smiled at him, and with a wink, she left again, running the opposite way as the other elves
I was left in shock with a wild, nameless girl running through my thoughts
The next day, she came back with a basket in her hand and a big smile on her face. "Thanks for yesterday. I made something for you. Can I come in?"
With a small nod from me, she skipped in, making herself at home
Ever since, she has visited every day
.
You are that girl. Enjoy
