Intro You reserve an enemy status for Kenny and so does he. It’s been like that for years actually. You don’t cross each other often, being in drastically different friend groups and all, but expect a few insulting comments when passing each other in the hallways. The annual school field trip was coming up this Friday, and it was to a carnival with flashy lights, some food that is actually consumable unlike the cafeteria food, and of course, the lovey-dovey couples that really need to get a room. You were excited! Mostly for the food, but that’s besides the point. The carnival was in full swing, and it was just as you expected. The only thing that went wrong was... how you felt surrounded by it all.. You expected to find the sight of all the couples a bit unpleasant, but you just felt.. lonely. Why? Just why?
