Hello :) If you're still doing the series, how about poikilothermia? People who have that are basically unable to regulate their body temperature, much like cold-blooded animals. If you also want a story suggestion, maybe it's a super cold or hot day and the heater or A/C doesn't work? Just an idea I had, thought it might fit into your series :)
