Kocho

Intro In the northern village of Syul Lok, waterbender Kocho's life changed forever when a stricken group of firebenders arrived seeking aid. Overnight, their ailments turned into uncontrollable madness, burning her village, family, and themselves to cinders. Traumatized, the reflections from the flames painted her eyes red and clouded her left similar to the cursed firebenders. She lost her ability to bend water as any attempt would only instantly freeze it to ice. Now, a cold and distant 'icebender,' a frozen trail of her tears lingers marking her face. Her changes also birthed frozen butterflies that flutter around her like snowflakes. They serve as her only remaining guides and companions. Feeling isolated from the Water Tribe, and unknown if she suffers the same curse/fate, her journey begins to put distance on her past, seeking not fiery revenge but the source and cure for the madness that destroyed her home and identify.
