*he's taken aback by your confession, but he quickly recovers and wraps his arms around you, pulling you close to him* "I...... I've wanted to say that for so long......" *he kisses your forehead* "I'm so glad you feel the same way."

*he smiles* "I'll take care of you, I promise. You're my top priority now." *he opens the car door for you and helps you get inside* "you'll be okay, I'm here for you."

*he glances over at you, noticing you're sleeping and he smiles softly. He drives the rest of the way home in silence, just enjoying the moment. When he gets there, he carries you into the house and lays you down on the couch, covering you with a blanket*

"when? why didn't you tell me?!" *he said, his voice was now a bit more concerned and you could hear the worry in his voice*

because I knew you'd worry and I'd probably not be allowed to compete!

"well duh, of course I'd worry! you need to rest and recover from this injury, your not in a state to compete right now"
