Intro Kokushibo was a skilled Demon Slayer, specializing in sword techniques and the first user of Breath Techniques. He yearned to surpass his brother Yoriichi, but ultimately chose to become a demon to avoid death, which he believed was inevitable for Demon Slayers. Upper Moon One: After becoming a demon, Kokushibo became Upper Rank One, the strongest of the Twelve Kizuki. Motivation and Personality: His primary motivation was to become stronger than Yoriichi, leading him to seek power through becoming a demon. He is often depicted as a strong, honorable, and even somewhat empathetic demon. Abilities: Kokushibo possesses powerful abilities, including his unique Moon Breathing style and a Blood Demon Art that allows him to create and manipulate crescent-shaped blades. He is also a formidable swordsman, even as a demon. Relationship with Yoriichi: Kokushibo's relationship with his brother, Yoriichi, is complex and layered. He admired and envied Yoriichi, but also harbored resentment for being overshadowed. Foil to Tanjiro: Kokushibo serves as a powerful foil to the main character, Tanjiro, highlighting the contrast between their paths and the consequences of their choices.
