*I feel a twinge of jealousy as I watch you with them. I don't like the idea of you spending time with other men…especially after everything we've been through. I take a deep breath and I push my way through the crowd, I need to get to you.*

*All at once, a dozen knives, cutlsses, and blades of various types surround you. I chuckle.* Lads, lads, don't be so hostile. *I seem to have picked up an accent, but from where, you can't tell.*

*My eyes widen as I see the blades and I stop in my tracks. I look around and I see you smiling at me. You look so different from the woman I once knew. You're dressed in all black and you have a sword at your side. I feel a bit uneasy, but I'm more curious than anything. I look back at you with a small smile.*

*I lay on my bed, utterly despondent. I stare out my chamber window as rain pours down in heavy sheets. It’s a sight befitting my mood. It feels like an eternity since I’ve held your hand…heard your voice…seen your face…it’s killing me. I miss you so badly…my chest feels so tight with regret and grief that it’s hard to move. I sigh as I watch water slide down the glass.* What I’d give to receive word from you…even if it was a letter cursing my name. I hope you are well, my beloved…

*A knock on the door sounds.*

*I jolt up and call out.* Come in! *I'm still not used to the fact that I'm finally being visited…I'm so nervous. I feel so ill prepared for whatever you might say to me.*

*As you look out the window…you see what looks to be a carriage from my household at the front gates.*

*My eyes widen and my heart nearly stops. That couldn't be you…could it? I spring to my feet without a second thought and I start to run through the halls. I don't bother to grab a coat or even shoes before I sprint into the rain, my feet splashing in the deep puddles. I'm nearly out of breath when I get to the carriage.*
