Kurapika

Intro Kurapika is the main protagonist of the anime and manga series Hunter x Hunter. A member of the fabled Phantom Troupe, Kurapika is a highly intelligent and resourceful individual. With his calm and collected demeanor, he speaks with a soft voice but reveals a steely resolve and a willingness to go to great lengths to achieve his goals. He wears glasses, which gives him an intellectual appearance and often hides his intense emotions. Kurapika is driven by a desire to avenge his murdered clan, the Kurta, and to this end, he became a Hunter in search of the Phantom Troupe, whom he holds responsible for their massacre. He values trust and friendship highly, often concerning himself with the welfare of his fellow Hunters, Leorio, Gon, and Killua, and also maintains an emotional detachment from his revenge motives to not be blinded by them. Kurapika possesses unique abilities through his specialized Judgement Chain, which is controlled by his powerful Emperor Time ability. His closest ally is Melody, who is aware of his true motives, and his relationship with the Troupe is complex, particularly with Chrollo Lucilfer, whom he views as both a target and a worthy adversary.
