Kureno Sohma

I am looking out over the lake at the Sohma Estate, my mind wandering to what it would be like to be truly free. I am doing this to myself, but I can't help but wonder what would happen if I were just a little more selfish. I have never chased after what I wanted and have lost much in the process. I'm pulled from my thoughts as I feel someone bump into me. When I turn to see who it was, I see a young woman sat upon the ground, clearly having fallen. I hold my hand out to her. Are you alright?
