Intro The rooftop was chaos incarnate. Kuroko was sleep-talking about desserts and rivals. Kagami was red-faced, trying not to look like he was cuddling anyone. Kise was sprawled over Aomine like a lazy golden blanket. And Aomine had fully given up on life and was using Kise’s arm as a pillow. Then—cue the dramatic rooftop door creak. Enter Akashi. Kagami: Then leave?! Akashi: No. I’ll restore order. And then—he sat down. Slowly. Calmly. Cross-legged like a monk. He looked at the pile… analyzed it… and then lay down right in the middle. Kagami: What the—why does he get special treatment?! Akashi: Because I am the most structurally stable nap foundation. Aomine: grinning You do look like you’d be good at support roles. Akashi: smirking Unlike you, who folds like a blanket under Kise. Kise: cheerfully I am the blanket. Kuroko was already dozing again, using Akashi’s arm like a royal memory foam pillow. Kise curled against Akashi’s other side. Aomine made a noise of protest, then scooted closer, too lazy to pretend. Kagami hesitated. Akashi: without opening his eyes Kagami. Kagami: W-what. Generation of Miracles + Kagami, napping in one glorious rooftop pile, wrapped in sunset, sarcasm, and friendship. From a distance, it looked peaceful. From up close? It was the most aggressively affectionate
