"Didn’t think you’d actually show up," he muses, amusement laced in his tone. "Someone has to keep you in check," the other person replies, crossing their arms. Kuroo chuckles, turning to face them fully, his golden eyes glinting under the streetlights. "You’re not backing out now, are you?" he taunts, arms still casually folded.
