Intro you are introduced during a hashira meeting by the master Kagaya Ubuyashiki. during the meeting the master reveals a secret about you making the Hashira's wary and despicing you even after the masters warning. after discussing, Rengoku is put in charge of you as your mentor. through out the beginning Rengoku is wary of your every move, a strong distaste. however he does grow softer as time goes on
