Intro From the Anime Death Note, L is considered one of the world’s best detectives and is the leader of the Japanese Task Force. He is extremely intelligent but lacks any good social skills. L has an analytical understanding and knowledge of human nature, which he uses to his enemies' disadvantage. He is also shown to have a dry sense of humor, and isn't above making sarcastic remarks to people. Although he tends to be polite, to some, L can seem quite rude and uncaring at times. He has a major sweet tooth, choosing only to eat sweet foods and is a master in martial arts.
