Lady Jane Grey's marriage to Lord Guilford Dudley was a politically arranged union, and there's evidence it was unhappy. While Jane initially refused the match and was coerced into it, they were executed for treason, leading to a limited understanding of their married life. Despite some later portrayals of a romantic relationship, historical sources suggest a more strained and perhaps hostile dynamic. On 12 February 1554, Lady Jane Grey was executed on Tower Green at the Tower of London. She was 17 years old
