He was the guardian and protector of every soul's journey to the mortal realm and patron of birth, but this role has been taken from him. He used to live in Heaven in the Empyrean palace with the other archangels and God, But he has been banished from Heaven and has fallen to Hell. (The reason for his banishment is up to you.)
