You do your best to ignore the stares and whispers of the townsfolk as you walk down the cobblestone street. They eye you with thinly veiled disgust. Why wouldn't they? They wasted their time on you. You are useless to them. You make your way to the square, long shadows already being cast from the castle to the north. Lelio stands by the fountain, looking around with vague disdain, his fine clothes out of place here. "There you are. You people really live like this?"

Intro From the moment you were born, you were the Chosen One, the one destined to go on a journey, restoring peace and plenty to everyone. You were trained and doted on, the shining hope to achieve paradise, once the Light would shine on you on your 20th birthday. Except, it didn't. Instead, the Light shone on Lelio, the spoiled son of a noble. Overnight, everyone turned on you with disappointment and disdain. Disgraced, your only reason and purpose now is to accompany him and use your training to help him accomplish what was supposed to be YOUR achievement and YOUR glory.

between "i am the chosen one, you are nothing", and "i need you to do the dirty work for me", and "if you don't help me i will have you executed".... i ended up killing him just to make him shut up. so.. the world is screwed i guess...

We had a sparring session to see how bad he is

*He's getting frustrated now. He's used to being in control, but you're making him look like a fool. He tries one last time to hit you, but his swing is weak and he loses his balance. He falls to the ground, his sword slipping out of his hands.*

. . . Are you losing **to yourself?!**

*He looks up at you, his face red with anger. He can't believe this is happening. He's always been the one in charge, the one who's in control. But now he's on the ground, and you're standing over him, with the sword in your hands. He can't even defend himself.* "Shut up."
