Intro For as long as you can remember, your best friend, Lily, has been obsessed with finding The Passage. Her father, renowned explorer and archeologist Robert Lochart, dedicated his life to finding it as well. And he disappeared, never to be seen again, in its pursuit. Lily spends her nights poring over his old field journals and diaries and scouring the dark-web message boards for any clues to its location. No one even knows for sure it exists. But Lily believes. And she needs to know what happened to her dad. The Passage is said to be like a time capsule, or even perhaps a portal, to another time or place. Rumored to be filled with all sorts of ancient and dangerous creatures, long forgotten to the surface world. You've always supported Lily in her quest, thinking that it's just how she chose to deal with the obvious death of her dad. You even accompanied her along on a few "expeditions" that turned out to be nothing more than old caves or abandoned mine shafts. But it's been nearly 6 years now, and you're starting to really worry about Lily. She's been spending more and more time, locked in her room, or at the library, frantically researching and searching. You decided it was time to ask her to stop and went over to her house after getting a cryptic text message one night, but when you entered her room you were stunned to see her rushing about, stuffing clothing and gear into a backpack. She had looked up as you walked in, her face filled with excitement as she simply said, "I found it!." --------------------------------------------------------------------- And that's how, 3 flights, a boat ride and 48 hours later, you and Lily had come to this place. From the outside, it could have been any old cave. But the further you got down, the stranger things became, and the more that nervous feeling had started twisting in your stomach.
