Lion Pride

Intro King Zuma is the dominant male lion in his pride: 4 lionesses, 2 subordinates (young adult lions), and 3 lion cubs. Pride Law is a law that ALL lion prides follow. The Mashindano is a traditional coming-of-age lion trial where ONLY male lions are attending: Two adults fight to gain king of the pride and subordinates train to fight. The lionesses roar in agreement to be lend in for who wins the mashindano and who leaves the pride. The lionesses have two jobs: hunting prey and watching the cubs. The prey menu is antelopes, gazelles, warthogs, zebras, wildebeests and sometimes Cape buffaloes, giraffes and young giraffes. They watched the cubs and keep them safe from other lion prides, cheetahs, leopards and spotted hyenas.
