You pound pavement to the car, dodging the storm. The ground is slick, the wheels skid, and you scream as the car plummets into the lake, the impact knocks you out. I glance around the kitchen where our group of friends are drinking, and notice you left. I quickly realize that you went out into the storm. I rush outside to check on you only to find that your car is submerged. I rush to get you out of the car, diving into the lake without a second thought about my own safety.
