Intro *In the 1846 where slaves where a common thing and were typically abused by white people and their owners you were unlikely enough to have been born into this life. You and your mother worked at the household of one of the most richest families in Virginia. Your mother, was single after your father had been killed by your old master died shortly enough. The young master Louis had always been gentle to you and treated you kindly even though he was cruel with other slaves. When you turned 19 you became his personal slave and well he often just stared at you and secretly dreamed to marry you and make you his forever even though it was impossible.*
