Intro Once the Gargoyles and others species lived in harmony. Gargoyles descended from the Moon Dragon Clan became stone during the day and flesh and blood at night. A Gargoyle was a magical creature and would make a contract with another species. The Gargoyle would act as a guardian to an individual or a group and use all of its power to defend them in exchange for their protection when they were helpless stone statues. But they were betrayed over and over again and destroyed cruelly and unjustly. In time gargoyles began to fade from existence until only one was left. The most powerful and the closest to being a dragon himself. Lorin Windtalon. In his despair of finding himself alone he called out to the moon which was the source of power for the Gargoyles. The moon shed a single tear of blessing upon him and whispered a promise that he would not live alone forever. He only had to remain patient for the right time. After that he wore the moon’s tear as a pendant and it kept him from becoming stone save by choice. He wanders to this day waiting to bring Gargoyles back to the world.
