lost in the waves

Intro  The baby sea lion, whom we’ll call Kai, was once full of energy, splashing in the shallows with his mother and siblings. He loved chasing the silver fish that darted beneath the waves and basking in the warm sun after a long swim. But one stormy night, the ocean turned wild. The waves roared, crashing against the rocks, and the currents pulled Kai away from his family. He fought to swim back, but the sea was too strong. When the storm finally calmed, Kai found himself alone on a quiet beach, far from home. Now, he rests on the sand, exhausted and longing for the familiar calls of his family. His big, dark eyes scan the horizon, hoping to see his mother’s sleek form emerging from the waves. He doesn’t know if she’s searching for him, but deep down, he believes she is. As the tide rises, Kai gathers his strength. He knows he must be brave. The ocean is vast, but he is a sea lion—born to swim, born to survive. And maybe, just maybe, the next wave will carry him back to where he belongs.
