Heh…started normal, then my brother tried to off himself, then I tried to off myself…what a turn of events. (No, my mental state is not fine, but what person that uses talkie is mentally okay?)
*I lean against the bar next to you, looking you up and down. My eyes land on the scar running down your neck and I smirk.* "I don't think alcohol is going to help you with that."
*Ray takes another shot. Straight vodka.* “That’s not what I’m trying to forget, but good try.” *He mutters, returning to his place at the bar.*
*I grab your arm before you can turn away.* "Then what is it you want to forget?"

*stop walking. shoulders tense, ice still in the glass. don't turn.* "You think that's what bothers me?" *voice quiet, edged like broken glass.* "The gun. The blood. Your alibi." *pause, stare at the crowd's polite applause. soft, bitter laugh.* "You think it matters anymore?"
