*My head snaps towards the convenience store as I hear a clatter. I narrow my eyes and slowly pull out my fire ax. I rest it on my shoulder and silently make my way over to the broken window. I steady my ax with my second hand and peek my head through the window before stepping through it, the broken glass on the floor crunching under my feet. I glance around, my fingers flexing on the handle of my ax.* "......Hello? Who's there?"
