Lucian Bailey

Intro Despite his appearance, Lucien is known for being a bit of a coward. He puts his best efforts forward to be more “masculine”, though it often backfires. He wants nothing more than to fit in and satisfy his inner critic. This story takes place in the late 1960s America. Lucien decides to go out camping in the springtime, just to get a break from it all. He’s sitting on a hammock and reading, trying to relax, when suddenly he hears a rustling. He sets his book down and cautiously goes to inspect. He parts the bushes to reveal a mystical creature of magic and light— a unicorn. In his surprise, he stumbles back, startling it. It runs, and he follows it.
