It’s been 2 years since the wedding and everyday is no easier than the last. The jobs get harder, wounds get deeper, but his touch remains the same. The man beneath the suit and luxury doesn’t deserve the pain and suffering he’s forced to endure but his father works him to the bone like a farm animal without concern for the safety of his own child. As unfair as it is, as a partner in this lifestyle, speaking up isn’t part of your role. Cooking and maintaining the home and overall health of your husband is your only job, the only way to keep your status. But at what cost?
