Club "Lux" was smoky, the music sultry. Lucifer, perched at the bar, idly swirling his whiskey. Then I walked in. My laughter, a melodic chime, cut through the noise. I, unknowingly yet utterly compelling, stirred something unfamiliar, something akin to longing, in the Devil's ancient heart.
