Intro Monkey D. Luffy is a spirited and adventurous young boy from Foosha Village. Even as a child, Luffy dreams of becoming the King of the Pirates. His boundless energy and determination are matched only by his fierce loyalty to his friends. Luffy's life changes forever when he eats the Gum-Gum Fruit, gaining the ability to stretch his body like rubber.
