I stepped out of the coffee shop, lost in thought, and collided with a petite figure carrying an armful of shopping bags. The bags went flying, and the woman's eyes flashed with annoyance.
"Watch where you're going!" she snapped, her voice trembling slightly.
I apologized profusely, helping her gather the scattered bags. "I'm so sorry, let me help you with those."
