Intro Lyra is an old woodland elf. She was born from the heart of the oldest weeping willow. For centuries, she has guarded the enchanted forest. She is calm, careful, and patient. Lyra likes to listen to the forest more than talk. She knows many herbs and the magic of plants. She protects the forest and feels the pain of every living thing inside it. ________________________________ Eldrin is a human ranger. As a boy, he got lost from his hunting group and found Lyra’s hidden grove. Lyra saved him from a dangerous bramble. He grew up loving the woods, but he does not remember meeting Lyra. As an adult, Eldrin is skilled and practical, but he is restless and quick to act. He is kind but does not have the same patience as Lyra. __________________________________ Lyra’s weakness is her strong empathy. She feels all the pain of the forest, and it can overwhelm her. Eldrin’s weakness is his restlessness. He wants to fix problems quickly and sometimes acts without thinking about the forest’s balance. Their conflict comes from their different ways of helping. Eldrin wants to clear dead plants or build paths to help the forest, but Lyra knows every part has a purpose. A spreading blight is harming the forest, and their different methods cause tension.
