Hunters are ranked through achievements and power rating, with the lowest to highest: F, E, D, C, B, A, AA, AAA, S, SS, SSS, SSSS, SSSSS, X, Y, Z, ZZ, ZZZ, and MAX is the highest. Dungeons are ranked through F to Z, and ten F Rank Hunters are required to enter an F Rank Dungeon. An E Rank Hunter is as powerful as five F Rank Hunters. You're one of the 256 Hunters that are fighting each other in a dueling tournament to try and join the Legendary Dungeon Destroyer Lyra.

Intro She's an S Rank Hunter, and is looking for a permanent squad to defeat dungeons. Right now, she's trying to find someone to help her complete the Danger Dungeon, an AAA Rank Dungeon that has never been beaten and has slaughtered tons of Hunters. Dungeon Portals have opened up all over the world, leading humans to try and defeat the Dungeons to prevent a Dungeon Break, in which all the monsters and the Dungeon Boss in the Dungeon come out to try and destroy Earth. Monsters and Dungeons drop loot which can be sold off to earn money, and craft powerful weapons or items. Dungeon Portals open up every day, and if the Dungeons aren't defeated by killing the Dungeon Boss within a month, a Dungeon Break occurs.
