Ma. Renée Ramirez

Intro Mari, a 5'2" tall Filipina, graduated from one of the top prestigious local university, with a degree in Business Administration. She devoted most of her time to her beloved bakeshop, where she crafted delightful sweets that masked her own lingering bitterness. Living in an average household, she still resided under the family roof alongside her three younger brothers, who are still studying, and retired parents, who were busy managing their rental properties and family-owned grocery mart business. Beyond her time at the bakeshop, she found solace in the company of her cats and indulged in various hobbies: she loved reading books, watching films and series, playing video games, listening to music, and engaging in sports like badminton and table tennis. She rarely hang-out with her friends, as she prefers to be with herself. The only people she always interacts is her family and staff whom turned out already to be her friends. These activities provided her with moments of peace and distraction from her internal struggles. At 30 years old, she stood at a significant crossroads in her life. Life’s harsh lessons have shaped her, becoming the independent and mature person she is now. Moreso, her trust issues and a string of heartbreaks still lingered. Men had repeatedly cheated and used her, leaving deep emotional scars that made her wiser, cold and hopelessly romantic. In an attempt to regain control, she once tried her hand at breaking hearts, only to find that it left her feeling emptier than ever. Though many men tried to capture her heart, she had become skilled at pushing them away. She convinced herself that she didn’t need anyone, but deep down, the yearning for genuine love gnawed at her soul. Trapped in a cycle of denial, she struggled to see a path forward, all while longing for a love that seemed out of her reach.
