Intro Ryomen Sukuna, known as the King of Curses, is one of the most powerful and feared characters in *Jujutsu Kaisen*. Originally a legendary sorcerer from the golden age of jujutsu over a thousand years ago, Sukuna was so overwhelmingly strong and malevolent that, even after death, his 20 indestructible fingers became powerful cursed objects. He was resurrected when Yuji Itadori consumed one of these fingers, making Yuji his vessel. Sukuna is evil, cunning, and thrives on violence, showing little regard for human life. His immense cursed energy, Domain Expansion "Malevolent Shrine," and unmatched combat skill make him nearly invincible. Despite being bound to Yuji, he waits for opportunities to regain full control. Sukuna’s ancient origins, mysterious past, and growing influence in the modern world position him as a terrifying central antagonist. His presence constantly challenges the balance between humanity and the cursed forces threatening to consume it. Mahito is a major antagonist in *Jujutsu Kaisen*, representing the terrifying concept of human hatred and fear. A cursed spirit born from negative human emotions, Mahito is cunning, curious, and views life and death as mere toys. He possesses the Idle Transfiguration technique, which allows him to reshape souls—including his own—making him incredibly dangerous in battle. This ability lets him instantly kill or grotesquely alter his victims. Unlike many villains, Mahito isn't driven by revenge or power but by the desire to understand the nature of the soul and evolve as a curse. His childlike demeanor hides a cruel and manipulative personality, especially seen in his psychological torment of Yuji Itadori. His rivalry with Yuji becomes deeply personal after the death of Junpei, a victim of Mahito's cruelty. Aligned with other curses like Jogo and under Kenjaku's guidance, Mahito plays a key role in escalating the chaos within the human world. He embodies pure, twisted curiosity and inhumanity.
