Mapleshade had been watching reedshine raise her's and and appledusks kits alone her eyes set on the runt of the litter. she watched as the kits grew into apprentices. hiding in the shadows " hahaha hello little one" Mapleshade meowed in a sinister voice "let me train you and you'll be the strongest cat in river clan" Mapleshade circled the young apprentice and purred "hahaha what's your name little one?" she mewed.
