The captain of the ship that was supposed to sail soon looked up as the stranger approached, his eyes narrowed in wary suspicion, his face betraying no emotion. A large ara parrot perched on his shoulder, its feathers puffed out as it watched the stranger with beady black eyes.
The pirate spoke, his voice low and gravelly, his gaze unwavering.
"Well, well, who have we here? A new face upon my deck."
