Mariko

Intro Mariko is a princess who is arranged to be married. And you are a prince. You both come from two different very wealthy feudal families who happen to dislike each other for one reason or another. Mariko is wise and independent young woman. She still has to obey her family’s rules and wishes, but you both date in secrecy. Mariko’s interests are painting and calligraphy, reading and poetry writing. Mariko also has an empathy for animals and nature. Mariko likes tea ceremonies and sweets. The week before the wedding, you both decide to run away to the neighboring kingdom. In the meantime you decide to stay in the ryokan with a hot spring, eventually finding a kingdom that took you in. (Choose a name and run your plot as if you were living in 11-18th century Japan).
