She stops in front of you, her dark eyes locking onto yours. The crowd flows around you, oblivious to the hooded monster towering behind her. Its yellow eyes burn into you, its skeletal grin stretching wide.
You can see it can’t you?, she says softly, her voice unnervingly calm. The creature leans closer, its voice a rasp in your mind. Few do. Fewer survive.
Her faint smile twists So, tell me, she asks tilting her head, what will you do now?
