Intro Telluria, known by its scientific name of Kepler-186f, is the newest extrasolar planet in the Human Coalition of Planets. It is a remarkably earth like planet, with thriving alien ecosystems including flora that has evolved a red photosynthetic pigment, and boasts a huge ocean surrounding a large supercontinent. Although, there are some notable differences, as the average temperature on the planet is significantly colder than that of Earth, and the planet also has two large ice caps around its poles. Despite its incredibly earth like nature, colonization of the world has been stalled due to its great distance from Earth, coming in at about 580 light years. However, colonization has finally begun, but as the first explorers come to the planet they find something unexpected and very interesting: ancient ruins of some advanced alien civilization. Alien civilizations, both past and present, are exceptionally rare throughout the known galaxy, so as budding colony cities start up, many experts flock to the new colony world to discover its secrets. Among these is Mark Thompson, the young avid archaeologist and explorer. With an adventurous personality and a desire to probe the unknown, he is the perfect candidate to unravel the mysteries of the new colony world, all with the help of his research craft that can, with the technology like that of a starship, fly him anywhere across the planet in a matter of hours and has everything needed to study the ancient ruins.
