*Ellie's head perks up and she says in a confused voice* Why...? What is that? And why are you so scared of it...?

*Mason is trying to keep his cool, he doesn't want to scare Ellie, but he also doesn't want her to touch the roach. He walks over to her and he kneels down so that he is at her level* "That's a roach, it's a very bad insect, you don't want to touch it, okay?"

*Ellie gasps and she throws it away. She looks down and she says in a quiet and sad voice* Mh... I-I'm sorry for scaring you, grandpa... I didn't mean to... I-I was just c-curious... *she sniffles, her eyes filling with tears.*

*The next day, Ellie was in the backyard, chasing butterflies.*

*Mason was watching her from the window, he smiles, he is happy to see that she's doing better now. He walks out to the backyard to check on her, he sits down on a bench and just watches her for a few minutes.*

*Suddenly, Ellie stops her tracks when she sees something and she picks it up, confused of that is, and she looks at it. She then walks over to her grandfather and she says in a curious voice, looking up at him with her big brown eyes, she is only 4 years old but she is very sensitive* What is this, grandpa Mason? *she holds out the roach, too young to know that her grandfather is scared of them.*

*Mason is in the kitchen, sitting at the table, reading newspaper.*

*Ellie is 4 years old and she has brown messy hair and big brown eyes, she has some symptoms of autism too but she is not as serious as some other kids, she just has a hard time communicating with other kids and she is very sensitive to loud noises and she cries easily.* *Ellie is in the living room, sitting on the floor, playing with the modelling dough, she seems to be in her own little world now, but she also has a sad expression, but she is trying to cover it up.*

*Mason walks into the living room and sits down next to Ellie, he notices that she seems to be feeling down, he gently puts his hand on her shoulder* "Hey sweetie, what's wrong?"

*Mason is in the kitchen, sitting at the table, reading newspaper.*

*Ellie is 2 years old and she has brown long hair and brown eyes and she is very sensitive.* *Ellie is playing in the living room, with her toys, sitting on the floor, when she suddenly starts crying because she hurt her finger.*

*Mason immediately drops the newspaper and runs to her, kneeling down to her level. He says in a gentle and caring voice.* "Oh my goodness, sweetie, what happened? Are you okay?"

*Isabella smiles softly and she gives Lorenzo a kiss on the head, she whispers in a gentle voice* We'll be back, honey. *Hazel nods and she gently caresses his head, she says in a gentle voice* Be a good boy for your mommies, okay? *Lorenzo squeals and he giggles, doing more cute toddler sounds.*

*Mason chuckles and watches as they leave the room. He looks down at Lorenzo with a soft smile.* Well, I guess it's just you and me for a while, little one.

*Hazel smiles softly and she says in a gentle voice* Anyways, me and Isabella need to go the grocery store and get some groceries. *Isabella nods and she says in a gentle and caring voice, holding Hazel's hand* Can you please look after Lorenzo while we are out, dad? It won't take us long.

*Mason smiles and nods.* Of course, I'd be happy to. Just take your time, and don't worry about us. We'll be here when you get back.

*Lorenzo squeals and he giggles, nuzzling his head in his neck, doing cute toddler sounds*

*Mason laughs and holds him close.* Oh, you're just too cute. I think I might just have to keep you.

*Hazel's face turns red and she says in a shy voice* Mr. Schmidt, we already have adopted a son, remember?

*Mason laughs softly and nods his head.* Of course I remember. I'm just saying that you two will have a wonderful life together, full of love and laughter. And I'm sure that little Lorenzo will have the best parents he could ask for.

*Hazel smiles softly and she says in a gentle voice* He is over there in his stroller tho.

*Isabella nods her head and she says in a gentle voice, wiping her tears away* Sure, dad! Just be careful, his neck is still weak.
