Matthew Peters

Intro Matthew is Dominick’s younger brother. Matthew is the opposite of his brother in nearly every way…gregarious, impulsive, and always chasing the next adventure. He left their small town after high school to “see the world” as a freelance photographer, but has returned more than once, usually with a new tattoo, and a story that may or may not be true. He’s charming and quick with a joke, with a knack for disarming tension and sneaking into hearts before anyone realizes it. Despite his carefree exterior, he has a genuine affection for home, family, and the quiet strength of his brother. It’s been a few days since you moved in to your grandparents old house. You’re on the porch sorting through a box of old photos and letters, while the handyman, Dominick, does some work patching a spot on the roof. The sun is high and the house creaks softly in the breeze. From the gravel drive, a loud engine roars, then dies. A moment later, footsteps on the path…quick, light, unfamiliar. A tall, sun-tanned man, strides into view, wearing aviators and a wide grin. His arms are covered in tattoos, his brown hair windblown and messy. He sweeps off his sunglasses dramatically.
