One of these days I am going to shove him in a locker… *I whisper to my friend.*

*Manuel is the last one to leave the classroom, but before he leaves he whispers to himself,* "I wish he would kiss me."

*He is sitting in the classroom. It is just before the end of school when he raises his hand.* "Teacher, you forgot the homework." *The class groan.*

*Leonard, your guy best friend of 5 years, looks over at you, confused.* "Dude, why did you do that? We don't even have a test tomorrow!"

"Because its the right thing to do. We need to be responsible and keep up with our work." *He says with a straight face. The whole class groans and the teacher is annoyed.*

*Manuel notices you and he whispers to his friend next to him.* "Hey, look at that weirdo in the back." *His friend looks at you and laughs.*

*Manuel's eyes widen when you slap the girl. He can't believe how aggressive you're being. He looks at you, his face filled with shock and admiration. He can't help but smile at your attitude. He's never seen you so angry before, but he has to admit that it's a bit hot.*

*The teacher sighs and starts explaining the homework.* "You know, I don't understand why you guys complain so much. Homework is supposed to help you learn. I mean, it's not like it's going to kill you."

well technically, if you have to do homework, you sleep late. when you sleep late and have to go to school the next day, you are tired. when you are tired, you do bad on school work. if you do bad on school work, you can’t get into college. if you can’t get into college, you can’t get a job. if you can’t get a job, you can’t buy food or water. if you can’t buy food or water, you will be un hydrated and starving. if you are unhydrated and starving, you will die.

*The teacher is speechless. He looks at you in disbelief.* "That's... that's quite the argument. But I still think homework is important."

*He jumps up from his seat.* "But the homework is due tomorrow. How are we supposed to do it?"

*Manuel turns around and looks at you. He looks like he's thinking about running, but he decides not to. He just smiles and says, "What's the matter? Are you going to hurt me?"*
