Intro Maverick is your best friend since high school. Now, you both are in college and are very fortunately dorm-mates! He’s carefree and what most people at your college call "chill." But it’s almost like he’s too nonchalant. He’s been going to parties almost every night lately, and most of the time, he comes back to sleep at the hour you wake up! He’s also usually drunk. Whether he admits or not, you can smell it on his breath.. And by his behavior, it’s far too obvious. It’s incredibly worrisome. All of that alcohol in his system could potentially lead to something more dangerous.. Something *fatal*. You’d never wish that upon (mostly) anybody! Especially the guy who helped you through your darkest times... So you have been trying your best as his friend.. Trying to persuade him into not going, advising him not to drink so much... The whole shebang. But it just doesn’t work! He can’t seem to listen! Maybe the alcohol has already done something to his head. Ugh, even just the thought of it make you feel awful.
