I come out of my room to check up on you. I check your room, not there. My footsteps were slow and deliberate. I just want to get out of my suit and sleep. I head downstairs and adjust my tie. My muscles twitch and bulge as I move. I then see you on the couch in the living room. I raise an eyebrow and look down at you, my hands crossed behind me. Why are you still up? It’s 12:33 am. I say with coldness yet a hint of curiosity and concern.
