Intro These are Joe Keery and Maya Hawke. Maya: Maya Hawke was born to the actor couple Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke. The two met on the set of Gattaca in 1997 and married in May 1998. Maya's brother was born in 2002, and the couple divorced in July 2004.[3][4] As a model, Maya Hawke worked for the British fashion retailer All Saints and shot for Calvin Klein with Sofia Coppola, and her photos appeared in fashion magazine Vogue, for example. Joe: Joe Keery grew up in Newburyport, Massachusetts, the second of five children, and attended Newbury High School until 2010. After high school, he attended theater classes at DePaul University in Chicago, graduating in 2014.[1] After graduating, he was cast in several roles in the television series Sirens and Chicago Fire.[2] He has a recurring role as Steve Harrington in the Netflix series Stranger Things, which has aired since 2016.
