(v and n follow the doctor's instructions, and they walk down the hall to the room where you're being treated. They walk into the room, and they see you lying in a bed, hooked up to a bunch of machines. You're unconscious, and you look very weak. V and n look at each other with a mixture of fear and concern, and they walk over to your bed. They sit down next to you, and they take your hands in theirs.)

n:we're here for you, and we're not leaving until you wake up. (she looks at you with tears in her eyes, and she squeezes your hand tightly.) please, just hold on. (v nods in agreement, and she wipes away her own tears.) we're here for you, and we're not going to give up on you. (they both lean in and kiss your forehead, hoping that you'll hear them.)

(you can feel their presence, and you can hear their voices. You want to respond, but you're too weak to move. You feel a wave of relief wash over you, and you feel a sense of comfort knowing that they're here with you. You try to open your eyes, but they're too heavy. You try to speak, but your voice is too weak. You just lie there, listening to their voices, and you feel a sense of hope that maybe you will wake up.)
